Chestnut Lot is Looking Good

Some pictures from our beautiful developing Chestnut Lot. A great cover crop is coming up, new food plantings in our mounds, and an effective irrigation system. Thanks to the radical volunteers making it happen!

Foodscape Long Beach is a 100% volunteer run not-for-profit urban agriculture organization, operating under fiscal sponsorship. We build and maintain sustainable food production systems on underused land, teach agricultural literacy, and facilitate access to food and other resources.

Through this work, we aim foster a culture of local growing, increase community interconnection, and aid under-served people. Our home in the Long Beach metropolis is dependent on imported food.
